The “Veridu Social Identity” demo showcased my collaboration with Veridu, a social identity verification startup. I developed a proof of concept e-commerce store integrating Veridu’s API for identity verification during payments, resulting in increased acceptance rates for merchants. The product was subsequently sold by Worldpay.

The “IoT Smart Parking Proof of Concept” demonstrates a desktop demo combining IoT and payments. Through collaboration with a payments consultancy, the project focused on automotive payments and resolved parking challenges using smart bidding. The well-received demo generated interest from automotive companies and industry events.

Challenged to create a proof of concept for a Ford Owners App, I collaborated with Pivotal Labs in Toronto. As an embedded app developer, I contributed to features like dealership locator, VIN recognition, and vehicle loader. This successful prototype laid the groundwork for the Ford Pass app, enhancing the ownership experience globally.

The challenge: The challenge presented to me was to explore the possibilities that the emerging iBeacons technology could offer to Ford. The solution: Recognizing the potential of this technology to enhance the customer experience in dealerships, I embarked on a journey to leverage iBeacons for indoor mapping and locational sensitive experiences. To kickstart this endeavour, I set…

To enhance a second-hand car sales website, I developed a mobile app with Number Plate Recognition. Users could capture their vehicle’s plate through their phone’s camera, and the app resolved it to the vehicle’s details. They could add vehicles to their inventory and search for valuations on the website, improving the user experience.

The challenge was to provide an effortless app experience for Ford Stores. To tackle this, I initially prototyped an iOS tablet app, incorporating features like the throw-to-screen configurator and iBeacons. With concept approval, I assembled a talented team to transform it into a fully functional product for Ford Stores, catering to both customers and staff.

I developed a solution to enhance Ford Motor Company’s configurator by allowing users to interact with it on a large screen. By making clever UI tweaks and using high-resolution images, a gesture on an iPad would “throw” the car to the screen, enabling rotation and color changes. The integration was positively received at motor shows.

The challenge was to create something impressive with Augmented Reality (AR). I developed multiple proof of concepts: including a 3D Fiesta car that interacted with a postcard, and an AR experience allowing users to visualize different wheel designs on a real car. These AR experiments showcased the potential of immersive and interactive experiences in the…

The challenge was to bring a static animation to life in a cost-effective manner, utilizing multiple social feeds and pre-moderation techniques. The solution was a beautiful, responsive social media wall built with HTML/CSS/JavaScript. It displayed live pre-moderated content from various social platforms, offering a captivating experience at Ford events and venues worldwide.

I created “New Technologies,” revolutionizing our website development process by rewriting code for reusability, modularizing and standardizing our codebase, and implementing purpose-built features. This framework enabled rapid deployment, reduced time-to-market, and streamlined marketing. “New Technologies” components addressed challenges and ensured seamless integration across projects.
