The challenge: The challenge I undertook was to design and develop an intuitive and user-friendly app for Ford Stores, providing an enhanced digital experience for customers.
The solution: To bring this vision to life, I initially created a prototype of the app on iOS for tablets.
In the prototyping phase, I incorporated innovative components like the throw to screen configurator, allowing users to seamlessly transfer content between their devices and larger screens. I also integrated iBeacons technology to provide personalized and location-based information to users within the Ford Stores.
Once the prototype gained positive feedback and support, I assembled a skilled team consisting of a designer and an app developer. Together, we worked diligently to refine the app’s design, functionality, and user experience, ensuring it met the high standards expected by Ford Stores and their customers.
The designer’s expertise brought aesthetic appeal and intuitive visual elements to the app, enhancing its overall look and feel. The app developer leveraged their technical skills to optimize performance, and ensure seamless interactions with backend systems, like the configurator.
