Process to go through if using Digital Technology Labs to build your website

The process to go through if using Digital Technology Labs to build your website, as a web design agency in basildon, is as follows. Firstly we advise reviewing the Digital Technology Labs website to see what they do, how they work, examples of work they’ve done, who you’ll be working with, and their prices.

Next we recommend selecting your package – if you already have a logo, branding and a strong idea of the design and look & feel of the website, we would recommend the Basic package. If you want a premium new design, and to take your site to the next level we would recommend the Premium package. And finally the Premium+ package offers the same as the Premium package, plus the develop of a logo and branding.

Once chosen the package, and after an initial discussion or email with DTL, they will provide a detailed quote with a breakdown of the project costs (including special requirements), and details of deliverables, indicative timings, and costs and an invoice payment schedule. Typically you would pay 25% of the project cost  in the first invoice to initiate the start of the project.

Then follows consultations to get detailed requirements, and the project proceeds in collaboration between you and DTL. Initially a sketch of the sitemap, and layout of the site is developed and discussed. Then a rendering of the homepage is developed, discussed. Once both design elements are finalised and agreed – the next invoice will be charged. Then the build process begins, and this typically starts with creation of the homepage, and collaborative reviews. Once you are happy with the homepage the rest of the site is built.

There are on-going reviews, and a final review before launch. The site will then be launched, the final invoice will be issued for the project, and the yearly hosting fee, and you will receive a two week warranty period in which we will resolve any final issues if they were to occur.

What then?
