I developed mock app download screens and ran online surveys to quantitatively rank concept appeal and learning potential, then presented high-fidelity mockups to participants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Over 300 young people aged 16\u201317 took part. The concept \u201cEscape Your Room\u201d emerged as the most appealing and impactful &#8211; both engaging and educational. I translated survey insights into storyboards, visual mockups, and an interactive demo prototype to gather deeper qualitative feedback directly from the target audience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"640\" height=\"449\" src=\"https:\/\/www.kevingordon.org.uk\/tech\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/Screenshot-2026-02-11-at-05.22.27-Medium.jpeg\" alt=\"Game idea renders\" class=\"wp-image-396\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.kevingordon.org.uk\/tech\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/Screenshot-2026-02-11-at-05.22.27-Medium.jpeg 640w, https:\/\/www.kevingordon.org.uk\/tech\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/Screenshot-2026-02-11-at-05.22.27-Medium-300x210.jpeg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Game idea renders<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Solution and IMPACT<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We explored gaming as a tool for learning because it offers immersive storytelling, active problem-solving, and the ability to foster empathy through experience.<br>Feedback for the final \u201cJo Escapes \/ Escape Your Room\u201d concept included comments such as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>This is a very unique and interesting approach to learning, not only is it educational but it is also fun.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Quantitative results: 61% found the idea appealing, 60% said they were likely or very likely to learn something, 58% said they would find using it enjoyable.
