The challenge was to build a proof of concept demonstrating how Veridu could be used for payments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The solution:<\/strong>&nbsp;In less than two weeks, I developed an e-commerce store that incorporated Veridu&#8217;s identity verification service into the payments flow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The solution involved creating an e-commerce platform where users could purchase online products. During the payment process, the merchant would verify the user&#8217;s identity using Veridu&#8217;s services. Unlike a simple authentication or decline process, the additional verification provided by Veridu allowed transactions to be approved with a higher acceptance rate, reducing declines in a non-risky manner. This approach enhanced the merchant&#8217;s payment acceptance rate and improved the overall customer experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To ensure a realistic user flow, I integrated the actual Veridu API into the demo. Once the proof of concept was successfully validated, I handed it over to the fraud team, who transformed it into a marketable product. Worldpay subsequently incorporated this product into their offering, enabling them to provide enhanced identity verification services to their customers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Tech stack:&nbsp;<\/strong>HTML\/CSS\/Javascript, Java<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The &#8220;Veridu Social Identity&#8221; demo showcased my collaboration with Veridu, a social identity verification startup.
