New technology projects for a new year, this blog post is all about some of the technology projects I plan to start, do or complete in 2017. I hope you enjoy. As a bonus, I would like to do some app dev too….<\/p>\n

New technology projects<\/h3>\n
    \n
  1. Website design and builds – using my acquired awesome web design skills; which really came together in 2016, I would like to build websites for myself and a select few clients (under the guise of Digital Technology Labs).<\/li>\n

    \"\"<\/p>\n

  2. Leap motion – I know it’s old school, but I just found out that there is a ScratchX Extension for this, which I must have a go at!<\/li>\n

    \"\"<\/p>\n

  3. Drones – I MUST get a drone in 2017, not sure what I’m going to do with it yet, but I’m so gonna get one of these! I’m thinking some kind of live stream. Plus controlling the drone whilst wearing the live stream through VR googles.<\/li>\n

    \"\"<\/p>\n

    \"\"<\/p>\n

  5. The Hello Wall (http:\/\/thehellowall.co<\/a>) – turn it into a screensaver (at least), and create a more flexible aggregation backend!<\/li>\n

    \"\"<\/p>\n

  6. iBeacons – build an app that allows you to find your keys, or maybe develop another more reliable ‘in-door mapping’ solution<\/li>\n

    \"\"<\/p>\n

  7. Wit.ai – learn how to use this natural language processing AI toolkit and build something cool, maybe linked with a Raspberry Pi<\/li>\n

    \"\"<\/p>\n

  8. Raspberry Pi Railway – get this up and running again, and think of how it could be enhanced.<\/li>\n
  9. Coding mentoring – provide mentoring to friends and family – teaching hem how to use a raspberry pi and scratch.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    What then?<\/h3>\n

    I’ll report back through my blog as I work on some of these projects. ALso I’ll share pictures and video, and maybe even write some new tutorials in 2016! I’ll also do a blog post at the end of year detailing how far I got with the above list.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
