Introduction... ...to Sandpiper Pre-school

Children learn through play. We aim to stimulate your child's development. Our equipment is designed to develop your child intellectually, socially and physically.

Our resources include Home Corner, Water, Dough, Books, Paint, climbing apparatus, construction apparatus, a library, a Lego table and a selection of educationally based toys and equipment to encourage learning.

We abide by the DFEE Early Learning Goals for children's learning. This is broken down into six areas which can be seen if you click here

We have a very high staff to child ratio which never exceeds 1 to 6. Teaching groups will be kept to a maximum of 4 children. This, with our caring approach enables all of the children to achieve at their own ability level.
