'Open door' policy

We operate an 'open door' policy which means you are welcome into pre-school any time.

Opening Times

09:00 to 12:00 Monday - Friday

Please note that children must not arrive at pre-school before 9:00 am. And must be collected on time at the end of each morning. If someone other than yourself will be collecting your child you MUST tell a member of staff so that this can be noted.

Equipment to Bring

What your child needs to bring to pre-school (All items need to have your child's name on them):

A. Pair of slip on plimsolls
B. Small bag
C. Small hand towel
D. Binder

Open Days

At the end of each Summer Term we have an Open Day.

Term Dates

These are posted on the pre-school notice board.

D.F.E.E. Funding

The funding structure is different for 3 year olds and 4 year olds:

• 3 Year Olds - If you meet current government criteria ((found on pre-school notice board) your child is entitled to five free pre-school sessions per week, the term after their 3rd birthday.
• 4 Year Olds - Every child is entitled to five pre-school sessions per week the term after their 4th birthday.

Outside Play

We have outside play every morning (weather permitting). As we have a problem with storage space we operate a rota of outside toys that can be brought in from home.

Where possible all items are to be named.
