Visit www.nescafeweb.com for the first and best fully functional java NES emulator. My favourite games that you can currently play are Contra (that takes me back to my childhood), Bubble Bobble and Battletoads. My favourite game was Super Mario Bros, and Mario 3. Unfortunately David de Niese was forced to take down those games and a number of others which I think is very silly. Maybe someone should start up a protest! There is both an online and offline version of Nescafe, so if you own a copy of Mario then you can still play it, which is cool.
Two of the best features are the save feature (if you register you can save your progress - on any of these games! At any point!). But the best function is the replay feature, which allows you to reverse time, to just before you did something stupid and try again, very impressive!
To play download a copy or go to the website www.nescafeweb.com and play a variety of games, its also on facebook if you fancy it.
Nescafe is best played with a control pad, buy a cheap usb control pad, google for a control pad mapper to set the buttons correctly and it works like a charm.
