Here is a selection of movies that I watched at the cinema between November 2007 and April 2009. The ratings are based on the lasting impression they left me.

| Ghost Town | 9/10 | Excellent movie, gets quite emotional |
| 7 Pounds | 8/10 | Initially a bit slow, but builds into a highly emotional movie |
| Hancock | 8/10 | Really fun movie, loved it. |
| Quantum of Solace | 8/10 | My favourite Bond Movie, I thought it was great |
| Bolt | 8/10 | Fun animated movie, very good |
| Watchmen | 8/10 | Very good |
| Rambo 4 | 8/10 | I'd never seen the originals when I watched this. I thought this was great |

| Eagle Eye | 8/10 | Action packed, I really enjoyed this |
| Chronicles of Narnia Part 2 | 8/10 | I really enjoyed this, much better than the first one |
| Mamma Mia | 8/10 | Great fun, and Abba music, yipee! |
| Role Models | 7/10 | Oh yes, very funny |
| Be Kind Rewind | 7/10 | I like this movie, not as many laughs as I wanted but very watchable |
| Frost/Nixon | 7/10 | I enjoyed this movie, a bit high brow though? |
| Awake | 7/10 | Omg waking up in the middle or surgery, this is HORRIFIC! |
| Righteous Kill | 7/10 | Predictable sadly, but excellently done |
| The Bank Job | 7/10 | Yes I liked this one |
| Stardust | 7/10 | Fun fantasy movie |
| Rock n Rolla | 7/10 | Quite entertaining, not great, but entertaining |
| Forgetting Sarah Marshall | 7/10 | Don't remember it much, though I remember enjoying it |
| Never Back Down | 6/10 | Entertaining beat em up movie |
| The Curious Case of Benjamin Button | 6/10 | Great idea, pretty good, but soooo long |
| Jumper | 6/10 | Entertaining, could have done with a better plot |

| Defiance | 5/10 | Okay, the story is good, I just didn't it enjoy it very much |
| Lesbian Vampire Killers | 4/10 | Funny in parts, really a bit rubbish though in a lot of parts |

| Burn After Reading | 3/10 | This was a poor film, the only good bits were in the trailer |
